Interior Designer

The Role
  • Produce mood, material and design presentations for internal and client audiences with direction from Project Leads.

  • Ability to develop design through sketches, physical models, electronic models, diagrams, massing studies, and other visual formats to express the design intent and communicate to project team and client.

  • Must be able to develop design and document for a variety of project types for each of the design phases. (restaurant, hotel, residential and other)

  • Specify and document FFE including receiving quotes from vendors, requesting samples, managing budgets, and compiling spec books.

  • Assist in Construction Administration, attend OACs and site visits respond to RFIs and review submittals, substitutions and field conditions for conformance with design intent as it relates to Interior Design scope of work.

  • Experience working with Purchasing Agents on FFE procurement, fulfillment and installation.

Skills & Requirements
  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Architecture or Interior Design

  • 1-5 years of related hotel or restaurant project experience

  • Proficient in Revit, Autocad, Sketchup, Enscape and BIM 360

  • Proficient in Bluebeam and Adobe Suite 

  • Strong and versatile design knowledge and aesthetic

  • Robust interpersonal skills to convey design intent and direction
